Controlling Notifications
Is there a way to control whether you receive notifications for a connection.
In a follow/follower scenario, you just don't follow them back. But in this case, you connect with them in both directions.
And some situations you need or want to connect to them. For example, this is necessary if you want to give them the ability to DM you.
Or perhaps you want to see their posts at your leisure, and don't want them in your notifications since they create too many posts within a short period of time.
Sorting contacts using the affinity slider on the Streams /network page is useful, but that marks everything as read even if I have not read it, and it still does not remove it from the notifications.
Is there a way to connect with someone, but not have everything they post show up in the notifications widget?
